Cowgaceiros
Cowgaceiros, by artist Weyne, is an homage to the the Cangaceiros, social bandits in Brazil in the in the mid-1800s and early 19th centurty. The cangaceiros performed acts of charity and social justice on behalf of poor residents in the Brazilian northeast. The Cowgacerios cow features bandits in their traditional dress style of leather clothing, distinctive hats and colored ribbons.
